Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the finance function and supporting strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts
• Completing P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Producing monthly budget statements and financial performance reports
• Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register
• Assisting with year-end accounts and annual audits
• Driving process improvements and providing financial advice to budget holders
• Ensuring accurate bank reconciliations and financial controls

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a similar management accounting role
• Ideally part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or working towards a qualification - Extensive experience also considered!
• Strong financial accounting skills and the ability to interpret variances
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to meet deadlines independently
• A client-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
