Management Accountant

Our client is recruiting a management accountant, for an immediate start opportunity in Ilkeston, initially for a temporary period of around 3-4 months.

Description

• Prepare and present monthly financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting.
• Provide financial support to team members and colleagues to help them make sound business decisions.
• Identify and recommend potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Ability to work with various departments and assist with financial analysis.
• Manage and reduce operational and production costs by implementing cost-effective solutions.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, production, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
