Management Accountant

This is an excellent Management Accountant role which will provide crucial support to the Finance Manager with month end prep and accounts.

Working in a small but high growth business based just outside Thatcham, you will be part of a small team of 4 in Finance and support the Finance Manager in all aspects of month end preparation and accounts.

The company is an established consultancy firm with a stable and secure team, they are easy to reach via public transport as well as having plenty of parking on site. The offices are open, modern and comfortable.

Description

The Part-Qualified Management Accountant will support the finance team in preparing financial reports, analysing data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

This role is ideal for an individual who is currently studying for a professional accounting qualification and is eager to develop their career in management accounting.

* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
* Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and address queries.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
* Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

What you'll need to succeed
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or similar level relevant experience in management accounting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Immediately available or a 1 week's notice period.

On offer for the Thatcham based Management Accountant is an start on short notice, a longer term temporary assigment for 8 months alongside a competitive hourly rate.
