Management Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is assisting a long established, SME business with the recruitment of a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave. The role will start on 1st July and be for an initial period of 9 months. 

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• The preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet;
• Providing commentary for the Senior Management Team and providing recommendations to improve efficiencies;
• Oversee the Accounts Assistant and all associated accounts transactions;
• Produce VAT returns and assist with the preparation of payroll reports.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant  vacancy:

• Qualified by Experience, part qualified, AAT qualified or equivalent;
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Possess good accounting systems experience such as Sage, Xero or Quickbooks;
• Have a 'hands on' approach and ideally possesses similar experience gained from an SME;
• Available to start 1st July and interview early May.
