Management Accountant

Qualified Management Accountant, Central London

A prolific high-end restaurant chain business is currently looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant, on a 6 month contract, to report to the Financial Controller, and to undertake the following duties:

• Preparation of the UK Group Management Accounts and analysis.

• Development of the monthly management pack.

• Analysis of profit and loss, highlighting key variances, risks, opportunities, etc.

• Budget preparation, and regular forecasting.

• Inter-company accounting and recharges.

• Monthly and ad hoc meetings with budget holders/department heads to facilitate budgeting, budget monitoring, forecasting, explanation of results, etc.

• Monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, etc.

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assisting with the annual audit.

• Assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects, reporting, etc.

Candidate profile:

• Fully qualified - CIMA/ACA (or CA for Australian/New Zealand)

• An experienced Management Accountant.

• Experience of working in a large group structure would be an advantage.

• Excellent communicator and able to present financial information clearly.

• Self motivated and hard working.

• Keen to progress and take on challenges.

• Good finance and MS Excel skills.
