Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract

SF Recruitment are working with a superb business in North Leicestershire in their search for a Management Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel & system skills with proven experience in Management Accounting & month end processes.

Duties of the Management Accountant
- Production of monthly management accounts with precise analysis and insights, including variance analysis and KPI's
- Supporting the control of Capital spend
- Participating in regular review meetings with all stakeholders and budget holders to manage costs and advise on performance
- Variance analysis and understanding with supporting commentaries and analysis.
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review to identify and eliminate risk
- Provide assistance and good practice training to factories on finance and internal controls
- Implement and monitor financial controls across all departments/sites, and ensure adherence
- Respond to audit questions and requirements from and external auditors

What about you
- Experience in manufacturing & Stock
- Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AAT)
- Strong Excel Skills
- Analytical
