Management Accountant

The company is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to join its supportive finance team. Based in Gosport, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad and hands-on role within a highly regarded and dynamic organisation.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?
• Prepare monthly management accounts pack, including commentary, and analysis of financial performance.
• Sales and margin reporting and analysis.
• Cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns.
• Assist with year end audit preparation.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
• Proven experience in a management accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
• Effective communicator with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Assistant:
• 9 month fixed term contract.
• Office based role, would consider hours from 30 per week to full time.
