Management Accountant

This temporary role is for a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant in the FMCG industry, based in Accrington. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Accounting & Finance within the FMCG industry.

Description

The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Accrington- Reporting to the Head of Finance Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Material & labour variance analysis - supporting production management in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Weekly and Monthly Performance Reports
• Factory cost centre reviews & re-forecasting.
• Preparation of accruals and prepayments and BS reconciliations
• Analysis of purchase price variance including inflationary effects and recovery tracking
• Involvement in preparation of financial forecasts and business plans
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and update full-year projections.
• Work closely with business leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

• Have previous experience in preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Be at least ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Be able to consider a temporary role initially
• Be able to commute full time to Accrington office location
