Management Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, privately owned manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation for excellence and innovation. This 12-month fixed term contract will play a vital role in driving financial insight, improving reporting and analysis, and partnering with key stakeholders to help shape strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and analysing accurate and meaningful monthly management reports
• Responsibility for 4 divisions plus a consolidation
• Supporting budget preparation and forecasting processes
• Performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining trial balances
• Business partnering with department heads and directors to influence commercial decisions
• Contributing to ongoing process improvements across the finance function

Experience of accounting for stock, customer rebates, supplier rebates and car leasing would be advantageous but full training will be provided.

My client is open to applications from Part or Fully Qualified Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with strong management accounting experience. You will possess excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are imperative, as is someone who thrives in a team-oriented, values-driven environment.
