Management Accountant

Are you a detail-driven finance professional looking for your next exciting challenge? We’re working with a cutting-edge private security company looking for a Management Accountant to support a major government project through to March 2026.

This is a hybrid opportunity in Tewkesbury.

What you'll be doing:

• Project accounting for large government contract including revenue recognition, cost-revenue matching, advanced purchase stock treatment
• Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of monthly rolling forecasts and risks and opportunities schedule.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Partnering with operations and business leaders to drive performance
• Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and audit standards
• Delivering insightful MI and ad hoc financial analysis
• Preparing audit packs and balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with Group internal audit and external auditors, ensuring audit deliverables and queries resolved in a timely manner

What you'll bring:

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with strong commercial experience
• Experience with preparing audit packs
• Demonstrable contract/project accounting experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP desirable
• Drive and enthusiasm to succeed as part of a team and deliver outstanding results. An ability to motivate others to be successful
• Excellent communicator with strong written and presentation skills
