MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Nine Month FTC

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Hertford

5 days in the office

Our client, a market leader, is seeking a qualified or part-qualified Management Accountant ( ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join their team on a maternity cover. As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.

In a nut shell you will:

1. Preparation of month end accounts for the business units including P&Ls, Balance Sheets, reconciliations and variance analysis to budgets and forecasts.

2. Assisting with the year end for the Vision Group of companies and liaising with external auditors.

3. Review of Purchase and Sales ledger activities.

4. Handling of Internal and External queries and requests

5. Assist with the effective management of stock levels, spares, consumables, and materials ensuring all company processes and procedures are met.

6. Monthly reports & reconciliations.

7. Provide support to Accounts Assistant.

Our client is looking for:

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant with recognised accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• Someone with experience in management accounts

• A candidate with a strong understanding of P&L management and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Commitment to continuous improvement in accounting processes.

• Good excel skills

• Track record of delivering accurate monthly reports.

• Experience in managing end-to-end accounting processes.
