Job Title: Temporary Management Accountant
Location: Cheshire
Contract Type: Temporary with opportunity for permanent
Working Hours: Full time
Salary: £15-£18 per hour

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Management Accountant to support our client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Produce financial reports and provide insightful commentary on financial performance
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all ledgers are up to date
Assist with year-end preparation and audit requirements
Provide financial support to departmental managers and stakeholders
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to finance transformation initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Help with any other administrative duties within the business

Key Requirements

Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Must have experience on Sage
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
