Management Accountant

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with a growing manufacturer in East Lincolnshire to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a 6-month contract.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including accruals & prepayments, balance sheet account reconciliations, quarterly VAT returns, journalling, group reporting, P11D's, supporting with budgeting and forecasting, working with the external auditors, financial controls and working with a range of stakeholders to provide support and understanding around financial information, sales, costs, reports etc.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be either part, or qualified, or have significant management accounts experience gained in a busy commercial environment. Experience in manufacturing would be highly desirable, as well as business partnering and stakeholder management. You will have interpersonal and communication skills, be used to working to tight deadlines in a team, and on your own initiative. You will ideally have experience of ERP systems as well as excellent Excel and reporting abilities. You will be available at short notice and be living within a close commute to the Lincolnshire area as the role is hybrid working (minimum 3 days a week in the office). You will need your own transport due to the rural location.
