Are you a detail driven experienced Accountant with solid UK-based experience in a management accounting role?

We’re looking for a confident and capable Management Accountant to join a dynamic, international business on a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in August.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a project-based, globally active company, working from their South Manchester office with the flexibility of hybrid working.

Role Responsibilities

You’ll be a key player in a growing finance team, supporting the monthly management accounts process across seven international entities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts packs
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and reviewing nominal postings
• Producing consolidated group financial statements
• Analysing P&L by country and preparing WIP calculations
• Managing stock and sales order processes, including stock takes
• Handling intercompany invoicing and VAT returns
• Supporting audit preparation and ad hoc reporting

Essential Skills

Please note: Proven UK-based experience in a management accounting role is essential for this position.

• Proven track record in UK financial environments, ideally with international exposure
• Experience in project-based businesses is highly desirable
• Part-qualified, fully qualified, or QBE
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs)
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-company environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial although not essential
