Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This temporary position in Stockport requires expertise in financial analysis and reporting to help guide decision-making processes effectively.

Description

The Management Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Hazel Grove Stockport. Reporting to the Finance Director key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing Monthly Management Accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Weekly Cash flow forecasting
• Prepare journals, maintain the fixed asset register and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Complete quarterly VAT returns to HMRC and support any inspections
• Processing employee expense payments
• Support the year end external audit and any ad-hoc group reporting queries

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Have previous experience in Preparing Management Accounts/Balance sheet reconciliation

Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or studier or Qualified by experience

Be able to consider a temporary role initially

Be able to commute to Stockport office site
