Management Accountant

Venn Group is delighted to be working with a renowned broadcasting organisation to recruit two experienced Management Accountants to join their finance team. These interim roles offer an exciting opportunity to support the financial management of a large and high-profile organisation, contributing to both operational and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading on the close of actuals and preparing month-end accounts
• Producing timely and accurate financial reports and variance analysis
• Supporting project reviews and providing financial insight to stakeholders
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Collaborating with operational teams to support decision-making
• Maintaining and improving financial models and reporting tools
• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and internal policies
• Liaising with internal and external auditors as required
• Supporting continuous improvement in financial systems and processes

Ideal candidate profile:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Experience using SAP and other ERP systems
• Previous exposure to group finance functions within large, complex organisations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Location: Cardiff (2 days per week on-site)

Duration: 5-month interim contract, with high likelihood to extend

Pay rate: £300 per day

Working hours: Full-time
