Management Accountant - 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

My client is looking for a strong Management Accountant to join them on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract to set up processes for a new entity as well as add commercial value to the operational part of the business. This is a brilliant long-term opportunity to join a growing organisation.

Description

As Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and developing finance processes for a new entity - creating meaningful reports and analysis
• Preparation of the management accounts and variance analysis
• Forecast preparation
• Work with the Site Managers to produce the annual budget
• Monthly VAT Returns
• Owning the month-end process including balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the Fixed Asset register

Profile

My client is looking for someone with the following experience:

• Qualified Accountant (although strong Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered)
• Experience of setting up new processes and procedures in finance
• The ability to partner with those outside of finance
• Experience of Sage and SAP would be useful but not essential
• The ability to start at short notice and travel to the office near Sittingbourne 3 days per week

Job Offer

A salary level of £56,500 + 12.5% bonus

6% Contributory Pension Scheme

Hybrid working - 3 days in and 2 days from home
