This key player in freight logistics is looking for a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to cover maternity leave from July. It's a key role supporting a commercially sharp Finance Manager, and you'll be the go-to for the operational and commercial teams when it comes to numbers that matter.

What's the gig?

• Own the monthly management accounts and provide insight to department heads
• Business partner across ops and commercial to influence margins and cost control
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
• Dig into variances and performance drivers - not just reporting, but explaining
• Work closely with the FD on commercial decision-making and analysis

What you'll need:

• Strong experience in management accounting
• Confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders and providing meaningful insight
• Finalist or qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - or equivalent experience
• Bonus points for logistics, manufacturing or supply chain industry knowledge
• Curious, commercially aware and comfortable in a fast-paced, mid-sized business
