Job Description - Management Accountant FTC

Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) – 12-Month FTC

Berkhamsted | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Multi-Entity | International Business Environment

We’re partnering with a dynamic, international business based in Berkhamsted to recruit a Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, multi-entity organisation with global reach. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis, supporting the finance function across a number of international subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities
Intercompany reconciliations and consolidation reporting
Budgeting and forecasting support
Variance analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders
Supporting year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
Continuous improvement of financial controls and processes
Business partnering with internal teams across international locations

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a management accounting role
Experience working in a multi-entity and/or international environment
Strong Excel and financial systems skills
Proactive, organised and confident in managing deadlines
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

This is a varied and hands-on role, offering immediate exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a tangible impact during a period of change.
