Management Accountant - Hybrid

Description

• Manage daily accounting operations in SAP, collaborating with key departments including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax.
• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Maintain and execute regular financial controls, such as inter-company reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reviews.
• Produce and distribute monthly group reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory returns, including UK VAT and, with external support, VAT filings for selected European countries.
• Coordinate with the U.S.-based Management Accounts team on global accounting tasks, such as expense accruals.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for subsidiaries.
• Support ad hoc projects and provide assistance to the Head of Management Accounts, Treasury, and AP teams as needed.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Prior experience working as a Management Accountant
• Experience working in Financial Services (highly desirable)
• Experience using SAP (highly desirable)
• Qualified or part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA
• Experience of working with multi-currencies
• Be immediately available (or available on short notice)
• Good Excel skills
