Description

• Prepare and review accurate management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the business.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support financial decision-making through detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Provide interim support to the wider accounting and finance team.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Professional accounting qualifications or part-qualified status.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a temporary or interim capacity.
