Management Accountant – Doncaster –12 Month Contract – Up to £40,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be supporting a growing business based on the outskirts of Doncaster who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team and play a crucial role in their finance function. My client is a market leader in the automotive field and have been growing year-on year. With passionate directors and part of a multi-billion-pound turnover group, this is genuinely a fantastic opportunity.

In return:

• A salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience
• 25 days + Bank Holidays
• Completion Bonus

Management Accountant duties include:

• Production of the monthly management accounts, accruals and prepayments
• Monthly variance analysis on all overheads comparing budget to actual
• Daily group reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliation including ownership of the fixed asset register
• Cashflow projections
• Calculations of monthly stock and bad debt provisions
• Preparing and posting the of journals on a weekly and monthly basis
• Responsibility for the VAT returns preparation and submission
• Ad-hoc work as required

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a part-qualified/qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with strong relevant experience
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have drive to succeed and grow with the business
• IT literate including Excel
