Manufacturing Accountant

Our client, a leading FMCG business based near Corby, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join their team on a 6-9-month fixed term contract. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations and you'll work closely with the Site General Manager and a dedicated finance team to provide actionable insights, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
*Oversee financial operations in a high-SKU manufacturing setting.
*Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, to inform decision-making.
*Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
*Partner with key stakeholders, including site operations and procurement teams, to optimise profitability and drive efficiencies.
*Provide commercial insights to enhance site performance and support the introduction Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
*Oversee the costing process for new and existing products, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

What We're Looking For
*Experience in a financial role within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector (essential).
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
*While formal qualifications (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) are advantageous, they are not essential for this role.

On offer:
Contract: 6-9 months FTC
Salary: £50k-£60k, depending on experience
Location: Corby (full-time, onsite)
