Job Description - Manufacturing Engineeer

?? Contract Opportunity: NC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer
?? Location: Bolton
? Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–15:45 | Fri 07:00–11:00 (4.5-day week)
?? Industry: Aerospace / Precision Engineering
?? Contract Role – Immediate Start Available

?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and prove-out offline CNC programs for 5-axis milling machines
  • Support part transfers and machine optimisation for complex aerospace components
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth process transitions
  • Utilise EdgeCam and Solid Edge to generate accurate and efficient programs

? What You’ll Need:
  • Proven experience with Fanuc, Siemens 840D, and Heidenhain control systems
  • Strong background in offline CNC programming for multi-axis milling
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge and EdgeCam software
  • Aerospace or high-precision machining experience is highly desirable
