Job Description - Manufacturing Engineeer

?? Contract Opportunity: NC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer
?? Location: Bolton
? Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–15:45 | Fri 07:00–11:00 (4.5-day week)
?? Industry: Aerospace / Precision Engineering
?? Contract Role – Immediate Start Available

?? Key Responsibilities:

Create and prove-out offline CNC programs for 5-axis milling machines
Support part transfers and machine optimisation for complex aerospace components
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth process transitions
Utilise EdgeCam and Solid Edge to generate accurate and efficient programs

? What You’ll Need:

Proven experience with Fanuc, Siemens 840D, and Heidenhain control systems
Strong background in offline CNC programming for multi-axis milling
Proficiency in Solid Edge and EdgeCam software
Aerospace or high-precision machining experience is highly desirable
