Mapping Coordinator Autocad

Pertemps Technical are recruting for a Mapping Coordinator to join one of our clients based in Almondsbiry, BS32.

You will be joining a team that deliver digital map-based solutions to a wide range of clients across the utility sector. This role is key to producing their Utility Search Map product—a digital model that brings together utility asset data into one clear, accurate map.

You’ll be based in the Almonsbdury Bristol office (with flexible hybrid working), and will play a vital part in digitising and georeferencing raster data, checking outputs from the team, and working to high standards of precision and quality.

Location: Almondsbury, BS32 (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Type: 6 month Contract | Contingent Worker

What You’ll Be Doing

• Digitising and georeferencing raster data into AutoCAD / GIS-based formats
• Producing high-quality utility mapping deliverables
• Checking the accuracy and quality of outputs produced by the team
• Managing your own workload effectively, raising any issues when needed
• Liaising with clients, utility companies, and internal teams to resolve queries
• Processing new map orders
• Supporting continuous improvement of mapping processes
• Helping to enhance the value of our products and services
• Providing support to other teams within our wider practice

What We’re Looking ForEssential:

• Experience using AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro
• Understanding of GIS principles and digital mapping methodologies
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management and ability to multitask
• Confident communicator with clear, concise communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Organised, professional, and solution-focused

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the utility industry, especially in service delivery
• Exposure to process improvement using digital tools or automation
• Experience in a client-facing role
