Marketing and Communications Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to be part of a team supporting the current and future needs of the organisation through focusing on communications and issues/reputation management and delivering a targeted and efficient quality marketing service.

Job responsibilities include:

• Support the delivery of marketing and communication activities across the Trust
• Visit academies to gather content for news articles and social media
• Prepare clear briefs for designers and design agencies to produce marketing materials
• Assist with various communication projects, including internal/external messaging, website updates, stakeholder visits, and campaign planning
• Update and manage website content using WordPress
• Contribute content for the monthly Trust-wide news roundup
• Help plan and coordinate events at academies when needed
• Create and schedule regular social media posts that reflect the Trust’s values

Candidate profile:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience creating digital content and managing social media platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and students

Role information:

• Salary: £44,000 - £50,500 per annum (paid on an hourly rate equivalent)
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Contract length: 6-8 weeks
• Working hours: 36 hours per week
• Location: Sutton (hybrid working)
