Job Description - Marketing Manager

Job Title: Marketing Manager, 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Reports To: Head of Marketing

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to join a leading, legal client on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. This is an exciting generalist role suited to a hands-on marketer who is comfortable operating across strategy and execution within a legal environment and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver integrated marketing campaigns aligned to firm and practice area priorities
Create and manage high-quality content (articles, newsletters, client communications)
Manage email marketing campaigns and track performance metrics
Support and manage social media activity
Plan and deliver client events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives
Collaborate with partners and business development teams on pitches and proposals
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all materials
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide marketing guidance
Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing performance and ROI

Skills & Experience:

Experience within professional services industry, preferably legal
Strong understanding of B2B marketing and business development principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Proficiency with digital marketing tools (CMS, email platforms, analytics tools)
Experience supporting pitches, proposals, and client engagement initiatives
Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset
Understanding of GDPR and marketing compliance requirements
