Job Description - Marketing Officer

MARKETING OFFICER
Join a world-renowned university, specialising in the social sciences, as a Marketing Officer, driving innovative campaigns to promote world-leading programmes and events. Collaborate across teams, create impactful content, and engage diverse audiences in a dynamic, fast-paced and globally recognised academic environment.

MARKETING OFFICER ROLE:

Assisting Marketing Managers with tasks to help deliver marketing strategies for upcoming events
Creating and managing digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms
Attending events when required to support marketing efforts on-site
Assisting with Canva design for marketing banners and website content
Supporting website maintenance and updates, with SEO experience being beneficial
Assisting with EDM marketing
Helping manage the content calendar

MARKETING OFFICER ESSENTIALS:

Minimum 24 months of proven marketing experience
Working 5 days a week, based in the office
Communicating excellently, both verbally and in writing
Having experience in a team-based environment
Being highly organised with a proactive working style
Being tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft 365, and quick to adapt to internal systems
Collaborating as a team player and offering support outside of main responsibilities
Demonstrating problem-solving and decision-making skills
Having experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Being self-motivated and able to work autonomously on tasks
