?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
?? Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Materials Assistant to join our team at The Cumberland Infirmary. In this vital role, you will support the Materials Management service by ensuring wards and departments are consistently stocked and supplied to agreed levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish stock in wards and departments to maintain agreed inventory levels.
• Receive, check, and put away goods promptly and accurately.
• Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective R&D service across the hospital.
• Ensure all deliveries are in good condition, correctly checked, and booked in before distribution.
• Represent the department professionally, handling customer queries and complaints in a positive and courteous manner.

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
