Shorterm Group are currently seeking a Materials Expeditor to join a fast-paced and high-performing operations team supporting aviation maintenance and engineering operations. This is a key role responsible for ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials to support operational deadlines.

?? Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the purchasing order book to ensure materials arrive on time and in full.
- Act as the primary contact point for suppliers regarding delivery dates, pricing queries, repair quotations, and scrap requests.
- Expedite external repairs to meet customer requirements.
- Assist with warranty recovery claims.
- Maintain and update the SAP system with accurate delivery and status information.
- Provide cover for team tasks and support with ad hoc operational duties as required.

?? Ideal Candidate
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence supplier performance.
- Able to negotiate effectively to obtain best value and ensure timely deliveries.
- PC literate with strong skills in Excel and data presentation.
- Works well under pressure and can prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems desirable.
- A background in materials, procurement or operations support is advantageous.
