Greenwell Gleeson are working with a great business based in Aldridge to recruit a Bookkeeper to cover maternity leave. The ideal person will be able to start immediately.
As the bookkeeper, you will primarily manage the day-to-day aspects of managing the company's finances, and its cash flow position.
Duties:
Allocate customer payments to the correct orders Reconciling transactions Upload bank statements Utilising Xero Reports Liaise with payroll about monthly PAYE Booking pay day payments Monthly Journals Goods in Transit & reversals Accruals & Prepayments Stock Monthly depreciation of assets in Xero VAT Liaise with external accountants regarding UK & Irish VAT Returns Monthly Cash Flow Checking bank accounts & updating daily spend sheet Repaying suppliers in due course Keeping up with customer rebate schemes
