Additionally, this role is situated within a passionate, committed and skilled mathematics department in a Newport secondary school. The role commences on the 1st September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about inspiring students and contributing to their academic success in mathematics. Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that promote the understanding and enjoyment of mathematics. You will teach a range of students from Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5. our role will also involve developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive, collaborative classroom environment.

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated mathematics lessons across a range of abilities.
• Develop, plan, and implement engaging lessons that follow the curriculum guidelines.
• Create a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.

Requirements of this Mathematics Teacher Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• DBS
• EWC
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
