Maths Teacher (One Month, Short-Term Cover)

• Contract: Part-Time, Temporary (One month - September 2025)
• Location: Bury
• Pay: Paid to scale £168 - £232 per day

We are seeking an eager and committed Maths teacher to provide a part-time cover (2 days per week) at a supportive and reputable secondary school in Bury. This is a short-term role for the September month, ideal for a qualified teacher looking to stay active in the classroom or gain additional experience in a supportive environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Plan, prepare and present the lessons to the students including setting home assignments.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning during the cover period.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
• Specialism in Mathematics
• Experience teaching maths at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to short-term teaching
