About the Role:

As a Maths and English Intervention Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who need additional assistance in these core subjects. Working closely with classroom teachers and the SEN department, you will deliver targeted interventions to small groups and individual students, helping to bridge learning gaps and boost confidence. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by improving attainment and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality intervention sessions in Maths and English, tailored to students' individual needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to align intervention strategies with the curriculum.
• Develop engaging and effective learning materials.
• Support students in building essential literacy and numeracy skills, boosting their confidence and engagement in learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and English.
• Experience working with students who require additional support.
• Passionate about education and committed to student progress.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
