The Role
As a Maths Learning Support Assistant, you will support the maths department by working with students both in the classroom and in smaller groups. Your responsibilities will include delivering 1-2-1 interventions, assisting with GCSE booster sessions, and helping pupils develop their confidence and understanding in maths. You’ll play a key role in helping students close learning gaps and achieve their academic goals.

This role is perfect for a recent maths graduate or someone with a strong academic background in mathematics who is considering a future in teaching. You should be confident, proactive, and able to engage with students of varying abilities. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly are essential.
