Pay: £100-£115 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a Maths graduate or aspiring Maths teacher?
A forward-thinking secondary school in Haringey is looking for a Maths Subject Mentor to work closely with students across KS3 and KS4 to boost attainment and confidence in numeracy.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a graduate seeking paid school-based experience before pursuing teacher training.

About the role:

• Delivering targeted maths support to students in small groups or 1:1
• Assisting with in-class activities and supporting the maths teaching team
• Helping students prepare for GCSEs through intervention work
• Monitoring progress and supporting differentiated learning
• Being an inspiring and approachable role model to students

About you:

• A degree in Mathematics or related subject (2:2 or above)
• Confident in your subject knowledge and communication skills
• Passionate about education and helping young people succeed
• Reliable, engaging and proactive
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
