Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the St. Helens area?

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in St. Helens to recruit a skilled Maths Teacher to start in September. This full-time role is expected to continue until Christmas 2025 in the first instance, with the potential to be extended.

Our client secondary school is an 11-16 school which stands at the centre of the local community. The team of teachers and support staff are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of their students by serving one another through love and this is achieved by offering a wide, varied and challenging curriculum through all key stages.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive learning environment that motivates pupils
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning
• Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 level
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
