Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools - Tower Hamlets
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant to support students in secondary schools across Tower Hamlets from September 2025.

• Support students in KS3 and KS4 maths lessons

• Deliver targeted interventions and small-group tuition to boost attainment

• Work closely with the maths department to help raise achievement

• Assist in planning and preparing engaging resources

• Provide in-class support for students with varying levels of ability, including those with additional needs

• A degree in maths or a related subject (or A-Level maths with relevant experience)

• Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils in a school or tutoring setting

• Excellent subject knowledge and a clear communication style

• A proactive, patient, and supportive approach to learning

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
