Mechanical Design Engineer

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading M&E Engineering contractor, in a 6-9-month contract position outside IR35. You will be required to work in office 4-5 days a week, at Heathrow. You will be working on and developing Stage 4 design into Stage 5 for installation alongside an experienced BIM team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.

-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.

-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.

-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.

Desirable:

-Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar) preferred.
