Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Queen Mary University – Covering 3 sites only.

I am currently representing an excellent building services company who are in need of Semi Static Mechanical maintenance engineer to be operating across 3 campuses at the Queen Mary University in East London.

As a company they are over 150 strong as a group with a mixture of engineers within different disciplines from heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical & General M&E maintenance.

Site cluster:

All sites are within 1 square mile of each other within Mile End/Whitechapel in London.

In this role You will be looking after a cluster of sites carrying out visual checks and maintenance on: 

AHU’s, Humidifiers, Temperature control monitoring, Fan Coil Units, Pumps & Motors, General Mechanical PPM’S, heating / hot water systems.

Must be NVQ Level 2 Qualified as a minimum standard. Must be plumbing / mechanical bias.

Package

• £40 to 50k Basic
• Van, fuel card, uniform, tablet, phone and training provided
• Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with half hour lunch
• Private use of van allowed
• Overtime available
• Call Out mandatory on 1 in 7 basis and with £200 per week retainer and paid x1.5 door to door
• SSP
• 28 days holiday per annum
• Engineer provides own hand tools
• Company Pension Scheme in place
• 6-month probation
• Pay weekly or monthly to suit
• Immediate start / will wait for right candidate.
