Contract - Full-Time (Temporary on-going)

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading FE College / Training Provider in Swindon who is seeking an experienced Engineering Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Level 2 & Level 3 EAL apprentices.

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical sessions across:
  • Turning and Milling (manual & CNC)
  • CNC Machine Operation and Programming
  • 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
  • Engineering Drawing & CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Maintenance of Machining Assemblies
  • PLCs, Wiring & Testing Electrical Circuits
  • Pneumatics & Fluid Power Systems
  • Engineering Mathematics
  • Engineering Project Supervision

• Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans.
• Provide marking, portfolio referencing and constructive feedback to learners.
• Support apprentices in achieving their qualifications and ensure progression.
• Deliver both workshop-based practical training and classroom-based theory.

• Prior experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3 EAL apprentices or similar vocational learners.
• Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and work-based learning.
• Ability to manage a classroom environment and adapt delivery to different learning styles.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and digital platforms to support delivery and assessment.
• A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
