Medical Laboratory Assistant

Medical Laboratory Assistants required for busy lab in North London

Temporary, Hours: 2pm-10pm Mon to Fri, £13.15ph - £16.57ph

Large Scientific company requires diligent and efficient Medical Laboratory Assistants to provide general support to the busy Sample Reception.

Duties will include:

• Receipt, identify and prepare all samples and request forms
• Handle large volume of incoming samples
• Identify and prepare - maintaining accurate log via the specimen tracker system
• Assisting with incoming department queries via phone, email, face to face in a timely and professional manner
• Other duties assigned by the department

The successful candidate must have had proven work experience within a UK pathology laboratory, ideally a Biomedical Graduate.

You will also need to be flexible, highly motivated, an effective team player, methodical and have excellent communication skills.
