Job Description - Mental Health Referral Partner

Mental Health Referral Partner

?? Coventry (Hybrid) | ?? 6-Month FTC | ? 37.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health space? We're looking for a Mental Health Referral Partner to join on a fixed-term contract and help raise awareness of the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space scheme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your experience in mental health, social care, or the NHS with your skills in stakeholder engagement, outreach, and relationship-building.

What you'll be doing:
  • Building strong partnerships with NHS Trusts, social workers, and other organisations supporting individuals in mental health crisis.

  • Proactively identifying and approaching new referral organisations - including cold and warm calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.

  • Promoting the scheme through events, networking, and engaging marketing activity.

  • Running training sessions and online events to help referral organisations understand and use the service effectively.

  • Managing ongoing relationships with key contacts, ensuring regular communication and identifying opportunities for wider referrals.

  • Using CRM systems to track referrals and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Supporting with the creation of engaging content and materials to raise awareness of the scheme.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience working within a mental health, NHS, or social care environment.

  • Knowledge of Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space and/or the Debt Respite Regulations (or willingness to learn).

  • A proven track record of building new relationships and generating leads through networking, events, and social media.

  • Confidence in outbound calling and proactive outreach - you'll need to be comfortable picking up the phone to build connections.

  • Excellent communication skills - able to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
