Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join their team based in London.

PAY RATE: £35 per hour  
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time (3 days on site) 
LOCATION: London 
   
JOB SUMMARY
The Qualified Social Worker will be working in Hospital discharge team 
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• The work will come from the General Hospitals, when a resident, open to our Mental Health service is admitted for their general health, and fit or nearly fit for discharge; It is likely to be the case, that there will be a barrier to Discharge that has to be resolved
• Throughout the work of the Discharge Social Worker, the case remains the responsibility of the involved allocated Social Work. Only Discharge aspect of the case is assigned as a task, to the Discharge Social Worker

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Educated to degree level in a health or social care discipline and current registration with Social Work England 
• Previous experience working in Hospital Discharge / Mental Health
