Job Description - Meter Reader - Lancaster

Meter Reading Operative Required!
(NEEDED ASAP – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!) – KENDAL (LA9)

In this role, you'll use your own vehicle to visit both residential and commercial locations within your designated area.

Your responsibilities will include;

Driving local to you
Obtaining utility meter readings (Gas & electric) at residential / commercial properties
Conducting visual inspections of metering equipment
Recording data through our client’s mobile/tablet app

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people and are comfortable engaging with customers.
Our client provides comprehensive training, along with regular inductions held across the country, to ensure you're well-prepared for the role.

The Essentials: (MUST HAVE)

Driving Licence, entitling you to drive in the UK - with no more than 6 points.
Use of your own vehicle with business insurance and current MOT.
Must be able to pass a basic DBS check.

Job Details:

Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonuses (OTE: £34,000 pa) + 31p per mile - MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT
Location: Kendal - (LA9)
Working Week: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hrs per week
Working Hours: 8.00am - 8.00pm working window
Overtime: Available on weekends (Sat & Sun)
Duration: Temp to Perm after 15 weeks assignment (if performing to standards)
