About the Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with the ability to teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4. This full-time position begins September 2025 in a progressive and diverse secondary school located in Bradford, known for its commitment to inclusive education and international-mindedness.

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language acquisition.
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Fluency in Spanish and French.
• Classroom differentiation for mixed-ability learners.
• Effective communication skills.
• Lesson planning and curriculum alignment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching.
• Team collaboration within and across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish and French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan and deliver creative, inspiring and well-structured lessons.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE exams.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support varied learning needs.
• Promote the importance of MFL through enrichment and extracurricular activities.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum.
• Use data to track progress and plan interventions.
• Foster a love of languages beyond the classroom.
• Set high expectations and challenge students to meet them.
