Title: Microbiologist Lab Tech

Location: Reading Scientific Services Ltd, 2-3 Millars Business Centre, Fishponds Close, Wokingham, BERKSHIRE, RG41 2TZ

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Hours of Work: 11am - 4pm, Saturday and Sunday

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £14.74 - £18.43 per hour

Qualifications: Microbiological Background/Degree preferred.

Responsibilities: Weekend Working Testing for Routine Analysis (Endotoxins, Bioburdens, Total Viable Count, Environmental Monitoring)

High volume routine lab testing. Purely lab based. GMP knowledge/experience.

They are open to the level of experience the person has, so they are open to grads or current students. Obviously they would need to be doing a Microbiology degree or similar. There is training provided on the specifics; 4 weeks and would take place mid-week. The more experienced the person the less training they would need.

The person would need to work Saturday & Sunday, that is non-negotiable. If a candidate wants more hours they can potentially accommodate them working additional hours on weekdays. May not be able to guarantee full time hours but they are aware it is a tough ask with needing to work weekends so are flexible and can try and work around the person.

ASAP start. They can wait up to 4 weeks max, but ideally earlier.

Pay is £14.74 - £18.43 per hour, based purely on experience and knowledge.
