Microsoft 365 Engineer

M365 Engineer – 3-month contract – Fully Remote

My Customer is looking for a skilled M365 Engineer to provide support in addressing a backlog of EUC-related tasks. This work will play a key role in accelerating both ongoing and future projects within the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment.

This role is Fully Remote for the duration of the 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities for the M365 Engineer

You will be expected to carry out a variety of tasks across their M365 ecosystem, including:

• Microsoft Intune Administration:
  • Implementing and modifying policies for device compliance and configuration
  • Managing Conditional Access and remote access settings
  • Adding software packages to Intune, testing and releasing them across the estate
• User and Group Administration:
  • Creating and maintaining security and mail-enabled groups
  • Populating and managing group memberships
• Exchange Online:
  • Configuring secure email
  • Setting up and managing mail-enabled groups
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM):
  • Assisting in the creation and management of PIM-enabled groups
• EUC Solution Development:
  • Designing and deploying tailored solutions for specific user roles
  • Supporting the rollout of any agreed solutions
• Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS):
  • Configuring MCAS settings, including handling application and/or user exemptions

Experience required from the M365 Engineer:

• Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration, particularly with Intune and Azure AD
• Good understanding of Conditional Access, Exchange Online, and MCAS
• Hands-on experience with PIM and group management
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Clear, methodical documentation and communication skills

This M365 Engineer role is Fully Remote for the duration of the 3-month contract.
