Mid-day Assistant

Reed Education are working in partnership with Schools in Crewe and we have vacancies for Mid-day Assistants.

These roles are well suited to those seeking part time hours during the day (11:30 - 1:30)Monday to Friday.

Working with pupils during their lunch break ranging from Reception to year 6, people who are warm, welcoming, and good natured will naturally fit into this position.

Duties for this role will include:-

• Supervising mealtimes across the school, ensuring lunchtimes remain a safe and positive experience for pupils.

• Supervising and assisting younger children when necessary, during lunch.

• Assist with the development of pupils healthy eating choices and good table manners.

• Cleaning of any spillages.

• Cleaning and putting away tables.

• Brushing and mopping floors.

Experience isn’t essential however to be successful you must have a positive approach to working and interacting with children, be hard working, enjoy working as part of a team and be willing to support the ethos of the school.
