MiFID II Project Manager

A leading Tier 1 Bank is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a MiFID II remediation project. This is a high‑visibility role within the Markets Transformation function, responsible for delivering procedural, system, control, and governance enhancements to ensure full compliance with MiFID II regulation.
Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 6 months
• Rate: £580pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: London
• Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years' experience delivering large‑scale regulatory programmes in Investment Banking / Markets, with proven end‑to‑end project delivery expertise.
• Strong MiFID II experience gained within Tier 1 banks, including order record keeping, regulatory interpretation, impact assessment, and BAU transition.
• Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders across the Front Office, Business Management, Legal, Compliance, Market & Credit Risk, and Technology.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance artefacts, charters, RACI models, and implementation plans.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to chair project working groups and present clearly at senior levels.
